CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH: YOUNG LEARNERS (YLE)

Cambridge English for Young Learners is a series of fun, motivating English language tests, aimed at children in primary and lower- secondary education. There are three activity-based tests – Starters, Movers and Flyers. This gives students a clear path to improve in English.

YLE STARTERS

Pre A1 Starters is the first of three Cambridge English Qualifications designed for young learners. These tests introduce children to everyday written and spoken English and are an excellent way for them to gain confidence and improve their English.

YLE MOVERS

A1 Movers is the next step in a child’s language learning journey, after taking Cambridge English: Starters. It is a great way to help children build on their language skills and make further progress in English.

YLE FLYERS

A2 Flyers is the next step after taking Cambridge English: Movers. The tests are written around familiar topics and focus on the skills needed to communicate effectively in English through listening, speaking, reading and writing.

A2 CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH: KEY (KET) FOR SCHOOLS

Shows that a student can use simple, everyday written and spoken English. This test is a basic level qualification.

B1 CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH: PRELIMINARY (PET) FOR SCHOOLS

Shows that a student can understand and communicate using everyday written and spoken English. This test is an intermediate level qualification.

B2 CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH: FIRST (FCE) FOR SCHOOLS

Is specially tailored to suit the interests of students, so it increases their motivation to learn English. Because it is based on familiar topics and situations, it gives them the confidence to use their English and inspires them to move on to further qualifications. This test is at an upper- intermediate level.

GENERAL ENGLISH FOR ADULTS

A2 CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH: KEY (KET) FOR ADULTS

IT is a basic level qualification that shows you can use English to communicate in simple situations. It shows you have made a good start in learning English.

B1 CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH: PRELIMINARY (PET) FOR ADULTS

It is an intermediate level qualification. It shows you are able to use your English language skills for work, study and travel.

B2 CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH: FIRST (FCE) FOR ADULTS

It is an upper-intermediate level qualification. It proves you can use every day written and spoken English for work or study purposes.

C1 CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH: ADVANCED (CAE)

This test helps to develop the language skills people need for success, and can be used for universities and student visa applications in some countries. Preparing CAE helps learners develop the skills to make the most of studying, working and living in English-speaking countries. More than 20,000 educational institutions, businesses and government departments around the world accept this exam as proof of high-level achievement.

C2 CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH: PROFICIENCY (CPE)

Is the most advanced qualification in Cambridge English. It proves you have achieved an extremely high level in English.

BUSINESS ENGLISH CERTIFICATE (BEC)

Cambridge English: Business Certificates are designed to give you practical skills to help you succeed in English-speaking international business environments.

B2 Business English (BEC) Vantage is the second of the three certificates. It is an upper- intermediate level exam.

With a B2 Business Vantage qualification, you show employers that you are ready to work successfully in international business. This exam could help you when applying for new jobs, getting a promotion, or developing your career.

C 1Business English (BEC) Higher is the third of the three certificates. It is a high level exam.

TKT is a series of modular teaching qualifications which test your knowledge in specific areas of English language teaching. It will help you to build your confidence, and is a cost-effective way to get an internationally recognised qualification. Whether you are a new teacher or have years of experience, TKT is ideal for people who need to prove their teaching knowledge with a globally recognised certificate.

You can take as many modules as you want, over any time period. You receive a Cambridge English certificate for each module you complete.
